Head of CSM Services Group

Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Managing Director as Head of Organisation Development and Growth you will be responsible for ensuring that CSM Services Group grows in line with organisational objectives. By identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships, new products, and services you will create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities and income generation goals.

Duties:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of CSM Services Group Business Plan.
  2. Develop a communications and marketing strategy in line with the Business Plan needs.
  3. Research and respond to tender opportunities in line with business aspirations.
  4. Develop pitching materials such as presentations, videos, and proposals.
  5. Lead sales pitches to new and existing clients in conjunction with Managing Director.
  6. Develop professional tender materials that represent CSM Services Group company offers.
  7. Build relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
  8. Maintain strong relationships across the Customer base to maximise business potential and ensure customer satisfaction.
  9. Identify risks and ensure the appropriate risk mitigations are in place to create the right environment for taking risks that benefit the organisation’s growth plans.
  10. Develop and implement strategic workforce planning initiatives.
  11. Manage sponsorship and marketing budgets to ensure resources as spent effectively in line with business needs.
  12. Lead workforce performance management across the group, designing and implementing performance improvement initiatives.
  13. Design and implement employee engagement approaches that bolster retention and recruitment.
  14. Lead the development and review of all policies and procedures to ensure compliance in line with ACS standards and ISO 9001 – 14001 – 45001 standards. SSIP and Construction line certification.
  15. Establishes effective partnerships with external stakeholders that mutually benefit both parties.
  16. Create reporting mechanisms to ensure Managing Director is appraised of the progress.
  17. Lead the further development of CSM services Group, brand and identity.
  18. Oversee the implementation of day-to-day marketing activities (including social media channels).
  19. Further, develop the group Website to ensure it reflects future and current developments.
  20. Implement new sales management software and support training for the office team.
  21. Lead on behalf of CSM Services Group recruitment activities and promotion of job opportunities within the group.
  22. Lead contract development plans and ensure delivery of customer KPIs.
  23. Act as an influential player, expert lead, and adviser to colleagues, ensuring business strategy and key deliverables are achieved.
  24. Lead the monthly review and audit process in conjunction with the management team and office staff.
  25. Keep updated with Security trends and business opportunities.
  26. Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners as well as stay up to date with new trends and legislation.
  27. Deputise for Managing Director when the need arises.
  28. Undertake duties as requested by Managing Director.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential


  • Degree in Business Management or equivalent
  • Experience in developing Marketing and Brand Strategies
  • Experience of working in the Public and Private Sector within a Senior Management role
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of tender preparation
  • Ability to win contracts that help the business grow
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at any one time
  • Experience in establishing HR policies and procedures
  • Experience in managing teams and processes to get the best out of them
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients, contractors, and staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use office 365 programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Resilient and persuasive
  • Excellent networker and relationship manager
  • Team player and willing to be flexible
  • Able to multitask and adapt to challenges as they arise
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of personal motivation
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to get the job done

Desirable

  • Experience in the Security sector
  • Qualification in Coaching
  • Experience of Trello and Sales Force
  • Welsh Language skills and appreciation
